The Broadcom SAS 9300-4i is a SAS / SATA controller without RAID function (JBOD). The controller offers 4 channels with a data transfer rate of up to 12 Gb/s (SAS) or 6 Gb/s (SATA) via the internal SFF-8643 connector. The controller is installed in a PCI x8 v3.0 slot (or higher). Thanks to the supplied standard and low-profile bezels, the controller can be used in all high and low slots, such as those used in 2U server systems.
